Lol the timing after Texans just signed a safety. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Ravens have released safety Will Hill, according to sources.</p>— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiecsun) <a href="https://twitter.com/jeffzrebiecsun/status/710176119987822593">March 16, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Maybe they still sign Antonion, but yeah.

If I'm reading it correctly, the Texans still had $10.4M total in total cap space remaining but need to reserve $5.3M for the draft. This leaves them a little over $5M to play without any other cuts...
yep. I see him as depth, competition, and ST. No way they see him as a guaranteed starting safety. I'm hoping he takes up the Shiloh role from his last couple of seasons with the team
Have they still not released Rahim Moore? I wonder what the logic is there... You think they still have faith in him?
I think he and Graham were cut the same day. Lamar Miller had #26 at his press conference. Rahim's old number
Moore was released with Graham & Foster. Spoiler Finding quality safety play is as hard as finding a quality QB for this franchise. Josh Aubrey, Lonnie Ballentine, Dominique Barber, C.C. I would say Marcus Coleman and Daniel Manning were at least as good as Pollard and Quinn. But yeah, not exactly been a position of strength for the Texans. But at least we aren't all groaning at Matt Stevens level of tomfoolery anymore.
Coleman (1st year at safety), Manning (1st year on the team), and Quinn (final year on the team) were all solid players from what I remember (better than Pollard imo). But that's 3 seasons of good safety play out of 28 possible, so definitely agreed overall.
If you're mentioning one year wonders might as well include Kendrick Lewis. But you're right i forgot about Manning.
Except I don't think they use it when scouting for QBs because then they probably would have hit at least by accident by now.
Doubt it otherwise they would hit on a QB already. The guy they hired from baseball claimed that everyone was talking trash to him at the combine because of all the people the Browns let go
