Exactly. Murray is a very "meh" RB, the Cowboys' O line made him look good but he's nothing special without it.
One TE possibility off the market. Wish they would've kept Fleener instead.

Wow: Colts keep TE Dwayne Allen, per source. Bad o-line, but Murray will still get at least 1000 yards if healthy. I'll put him at 1150-1200 yards and 8 tds which is an improvement for them if he's healthy. Texans can't be stagnant. Get Osweiler and draft a RB in 1st/2nd Rd. Could be the start of something special. Just make it happen. Security is key.
Gonna be weird getting used to this market. $7MM+ per for a guy who had 16 catches last year.

It's a four-year, $29.4M deal for Colts TE Dwayne Allen, with $12M paid out in year one, $17M through year two. I think that's wildly optimistic for DeMarco Murray, maybe more accurate for Latavius Murray. DeMarco played 15 games last season and barely got over 700 yards....he really isn't anything special at all without an absolutely elite O line.
He has been thus far. My point is not having a real offensive line to protect Carr, probably killed his development.

That had to do a lot with him being bad. He had the 2nd most carries among RB's averaging 3.6 yards or fewer per rush. The guy ahead of him, Jeremy Hill, only had 30 more attempts and that was because he got in the end zone 5 more times. When you don't produce, you don't get touches.
Very true, and with Watt and Clowney and Mercilus and Wilfork all next to him, if he was EVER going to shine, that was the time to do it. I'm really worried about Brooks and Jones though, the Texans have the cap space to keep them, but if they somehow don't, it could doom the season before it begins.
It was Chip Kelly though... His offense was rather inept to begin with. Chip had a quick trigger with his offense and pulled guys out. He searched for any answer, but it was his overall offense that I think led to Murray's fall. I expect a much improved year from him.
We could probably find a FA and/or draft pick that would produce better than Crick. Not worried about that one bit. Go get paid Crick!
