The Texans continue to be way too slow whether it’s plays on the field, coaching on the sideline, or decision-making in the c-suite. I respect a thoughtful process but with all due respect that should have concluded by the Super Bowl if not sooner. This franchise is a mess.

Well they need to do something. What they’ve been doing in just about their entire existence has not worked. Get some people in who have done this and have been successful while doing it. I’ll say it again...At least there was real direction and continuity when Kubiak was here. We knew exactly what they were trying to do and it yielded a little success. Not saying Smith should be back by any means, but he and Kubiak seemed to be on the same page. Need new blood. Need to strip some power away from Bill too imo.
Will be FLOORED if they get someone like Douglas or Caserio or any other notable GM. OBrien has contractual guarantee to have control over the 53. Guys like Douglas aren't likely to leave their gigs to be part of a "braintrust" situation where they know they can't win the power struggle without the coach getting fired.
