Texans fire GM Brian Gaine

This is the guy who should be getting all the heat not O’Brien and that’s why he’s gone.

He’s the one who mishandled the whole situation and O’Brien has to clean up his mess.

 

So it's a binary thing, everything was either Gaine OR O'Brien's fault?

 

Been waiting like 20 years for an appropriate opportunity to post this:

 

Gaine was basically O'Brien's hire. It's all on O'Brien.

 

BoB defenders tend to forget, that it was an in house hire. Gaine was literally the fall man, in case something happened. Just nobody excepted it that fast, a year into a 5 year contract.

 

Everything is the fault of the guy who's no longer here.

Clearly it was Gaine who was holding this organization back from its true destiny.

 

For sh*ts and giggles, one should go back to the last draft wrapup video with both Gaine and OBie, where it was extremely obvious that the two were having issues. The easiest explanation is that Gaine did not do what OBie wanted in the draft.
