I don't think this is true. I was listening to 610 and didn't hear it plus they haven't sent a sports flash text. Perhaps someone on air suggested Keo would be next.

IMO the next person to be cut is Posey. Especially since Jean is coming back this week.

They aren't cutting Posey after drafting him where they did in his rookie season.

I'm starting to wonder if this is legit as well though. It's not on the pancake twitter feed.

    Why would they cut Posey?

There's no chance of this happening. No team is that quick to let go of a 3rd round pick that quickly.

Also, I haven't seen anything about Keo being cut anywhere else. OP must've heard wrong or misinterpreted a conversation about how he should be next.

I was just in the car listening to 610, John McClain was talking as if Keo were still on the team.

No way Posey gets cut. He was a 3rd round pick, our 2nd pick of the draft. They're not going to give up on him after 6 games. Holliday was a late 6th round pick and had been around for 3 years.

Thank god. I haven't understood how he's been allowed to waste a roster spot for so long. Interested to see what follows.

Nope, Cushing to IR opened up that space.

Pancakes late to the party on Texans news?

I understand but did you see all his mistakes on Monday? On offense and on special teams. He's wasting up a roster spot. Maybe they find a way to put him on IR. He had a chance to earn playing time with Jean out but didn't look good out there.

I have not seen anyone confirm it either. I see it also on the texanstalk.com forum they also say they heard it on 610.

I heard Mike or Brad Davies read a text from a listener suggesting Keo get cut. Maybe that's what they heard.

    LOL

"They" aren't saying they heard it. One poster said it. The rest of the posts were people saying they've been listening and didn't hear it.

Do you happen to be the OP on TexansTalk as well????

Yeah, NFL teams hate to admit they made a mistake and will not cut a high draft pick for a few years. Brandon Harris was taken in the 2nd last season and can't get on the field.

from this pic you would think he was down. horrible horrible tackling by ball and mister. the kicker, forget about it. he couldn't even get in the way.

ST needs to get nastier in a hurry!!!

Trying to get a "scoop" from 610 = recipe for disaster.

I'm betting this isn't true. Seemed like a strange cut anyway.

I probably don't fault Keo as much as others on that play. He slipped. We had guys slipping all night. They needed to pick better cleats because I didn't see the Jets having the same issues.

Keo had beaten #26 but was wide of the lane McKnight was going through. He made a cut to move into McKnight's lane and his feet just went out from under him. It wasn't really a bad angle or overpursuit or anything like that, it was just bad luck.

If that was Neil Rackers instead of Graham, McKnight would have been getting a base test for a concussion instead of celebrating on the sideline.
