    Vegas betting trends suggest the Texans will cover at +6. I took them at +9.5 for additional security.

    Deshaun Watson is being set up to fail.

    Two starting offensive linemen out. All his tight ends out.

    Watson's first start on a short week with little first team reps.

    There is no reason for him to be starting.

    well maybe he gives us the best chance to win still. savage looked terrible.

    i get what you're saying though. I don't want his development to be hurt because of this crap but at the same time I don't want to see tom savage play if deshaun can do better

    Are the starting OLine even worth calling starting material?

    But I agree. This seems like a setup for Watson to fail so they can ride Savage out all year.

    no chance of winning tonight because of the injuries. watson should be playing off the bench. a game like tonight could ruin his confidence, delay his development. texans are too much of a hot mess right now.

    Being setup to fIl is kinda of strong but he is doomed to fail. Definitely being thrown to they wolves.
    I didn't watch the season opener but from what I've heard savaged looked better. Doubt he Watson gives the Texans best chance to win especially under these circumstances. Only way to win is if defense rebounds and creates turnover. Short fields is the only the Texans can win
