This. It is not as bad as Lin but it was pretty bad. All we heard for half the season and all off season was that the rest of the team and the coach was to blame for his struggles. He was never given a chance despite all the starts. And then when O'Brien cut him there was no sense of, "Ok maybe we were wrong." That being said, calling him was the absolute right move. It's just annoying where there are still posters saying this now despite the fact that he was also cut from another organization.
I feel like this happens regardless of position. A friend of mine is an SC grad and in his eyes Swearinger can do nothing wrong. He'll defend Clowney to the end too.
Awesome video. Case saving the Texans would be one of the biggest sport's stories of all time. It would be incredible if he just helped them win two games to finish the season. His first couple of games still resonate in my memory. The TD pass to Dre, wow. Well this time he has Foster, an improved line, and a more creative coach. Who knows. He did look horrible in the preseason though.
Keenum will be our starter next year after putting on a show to end the season. Seriously though I would like to see him impress enough to be at least third string.
