Some people have no perspective whatsoever......... Case "Keep'um" Keenum started for the Texans when: 1) Gary "it's on me" Kubiak was the head coach 2) NO Arian Foster (or even Alfred Blue for that matter).. yes neither of them, how do you feel now? 3) an OL that was completely mentally defeated by Matt "Pick Six Special" Schaub and having already lost 6 in a row by the time Keenum took over 4) a defense that was average at best (ranked 24th in the NFL) 5) a terrible offensive scheme with predictable playcalling. While some of the responsibility lies on Case for his average play and winless record as a starter (0-8 if I remember correctly), the deck was stacked against him from the get-go last season and the guy deserves a chance with the much improved coaching and roster that this years team offers.
by two teams. Worst case scenario is Case plays very well but the team still loses. now the team is forced to consider him as an option for next year's job.
Case Keenum is the best quarterback in the NFL! I don't care what anyone says at all! It was the o-lines fault and Kubiaks fault, and everyone Else’s besides Keenum that we went 0-8 with him! It wasn’t because he made poor and erratic decisions, and it also wasn’t because he didn’t look like a good fit in O’Brien’s system, and it also wasn’t because he was beat out by three other quarterbacks on this roster! Look, I don't care if the guy goes 0-100 for the next 10 seasons, the guy is simply the best quarterback ever! And I’m not just saying that because I am a Cooger fan and I was smart enough to buy a case jersey last year and almost got scared that I wasted my money! All I’m saying is that give the guy a break, I feel really sorry for him because he plays quarterback and he doesn't have a security blanket around him to save him from all this stupid, unfair criticism! Everyone is just being ignorant!
