It doesn't matter if the foul had nothing to do with the fact that posession changed. How many times has a meningless facemask call on the other side of the field negated a TD, or an offsides penalty can negate an interception or a fumble when it really had nothign to do with the TO (because its a free play... same thing). There's no way the refs can determine what can or cannot influence a play... thus, if it occurs before the possesion has changed hands, it takes precedence.
I guess so, though one can argue that those infractions could have impacted the play somehow or another. But, in certain cases, those rules are stupid imo.
Look at his stats against good teams. They are terrible. This guy is only good when his O-line is dominating weaker teams. Possibly the most overrated player in college football today.
Arkansas is an unranked team this year. Here is a sampling of Cedric's stats over the past couple of seasons: 2003 Arkansas 13 rushes-27 yards Oklahoma 12-21 2002 Oklahoma 22-54 LSU 12-26
I don't know what to say about Carr today he looks scared ..he looks hesitant ....he looks like a rookie QB
Last season 174, 180, and 142 against Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech, all bowl teams. Averaged 6 yards a carry in each game. This season against a good Arkansas team 188 yards.
I can't believe Capers couldn't get this team ready to play two weeks in a row. Penalties, turnovers and poor tackling
*Groan* I would have said this is a young team but that excuse is losing validity. Mistakes in every part of the game...
