the did waive them both but it looks like they are gonna bring brink back to the practice squad maybe both! i think brink has better potential anyways! so does san antonio cover the cowboys and the texans? talk about getting good rating on football sunday!!!
I may be wrong on this but I don't think Boyd has practice squad eligibility, so if someone's going to be signed it will be Brink.
I'm pretty pissed that Kubiak waived Darius, especially while waiting on a MRI on Brown. Even if the MRI is okay, you're talking about a guy who has NEVR been able to stay on the field. I don't quite understand the thought process of cutting the only back who played last season, I also thought he produced in the limited time he got. Also a little suprised that Maddox got cut, I thought he played pretty well this preseason.
Why did we release Quinn Gray a while back? The only reason I can think of is because Kubes was always planning on only suiting up 2 QB's and was doing Quinn a favor by cutting him sooner rather than later. If we were planning on keepin 3, it would have made more sense to keep him instead of letting him go be the 3rd QB for Indy behind Manning and Sorgi.
I think Gray was signed to be the back up in the event Sage was traded. Once we decided to keep Sage, Gray was cut, since we were always going to carry only 2 QBs.
