http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=310314010 says here he did not play due to a lower abdomen distress....Is that why Adelman isnt playing him...doubt it
Considering all the piling on, has ClutchFans become a rugby site? ....but some of the quips are seriously funny.
I'll give Adelman credit. Morey traded away guys that the coach loved to play. Scola's out. And he still plays the comfort-food guys and ignores others. TWill didn't play and Brad Miller was given every chance to throw the game. MAYBE TWill was hurt, but he's definitely Pluto as far as Adelman is concerned. "No, you are NOT part of the solar system, so just hang out over there and watch."
Miller executes the gameplan. Terrence does not. Simple as that. Guys like Miller might not look flashy when they are doing it, but they are trusted to get the job done the way its drawn up in the playbook. Also, if you play Terrence, that means less minutes for Lee, Budinger, and Martin who have been a very effective wing rotation since the all-star break. Most winning teams only have an 8 man rotation, the Rockets have a 10 man rotation. Stop b****ing.
Does he really deserve to play? What has he done on the court when he has been given time to play? Stop saying he should be playing because he has the 'potential' to be a good player. Right now he is not a good player. Right now we have wings that are doing a great job when they get in the game. You pick 1 game Miller made some mistakes at the end to point out. Miller adds more value than just scoring for this team. He knows the offense the best and can help other players when he is on the court. He still knocks down his shots to stretch the D. He is a vet. Like it or not, we are still alive in a playoff run. The coach is going to play the players he can trust to help us win games. That's just how it goes. Until TWill can show more consistency he wont play a lot of consistent mnutes. He can develop that 'potential' in practice.
