I like the way T-Will's been looking for his teammates. Slightly passive? but nonetheless very unselfish. I liked his shot selection as well. Send Bud to the bench and let this guy make plays with our starting 5

I like it too, he clearly has the ability to create, but he needs to use that ability to attack the rim as well in order to keep the D honest.

He has such a great skill set and just seems very lazy about wanted to take the next step with his game.

He still seems out of the flow to me.

I get real tired of so many people dogging on this guy about being lazy or being a ball hog. If anything he is playing too unselfish. He needs to attack the basket and use his great court vision to find teammates when he doesn't have the play, but he needs to take that mid range jumper when it is open. He gets great elevation on his jump shot. Mchale needs to stick with him and let him get his confidence. The sky is the limit for this guy. We are wasting our time with Bud.

He showboats too much. And he makes stupid decisions, instead of focusing on playing ball, he is too camera aware....and needs to be more basketball aware.

He is playing casually and his attitude is cavalier. Won't get it done. Sure he can facilitate. Dude has loads of talent. As Clyde said during the broadcast, he needs to get serious about playing basketball. He is not serious enough out there.

I like TWill and think he has a chance to be real good. I like that he is getting meaningful minutes as part of the rotation, but he looks to be just as passive on offense as Bud and his defense has not been as effective as Buds defense for whatever reason. So why would I want to bench Bud and start TWill?

Disagree. He may get creative with his dribble at times or facial expressions, but the bottom line is he passes TOO MUCH. If he continues, the defenses will keep backing off.

He is exactly the type of guy that can get teams in foul trouble in a hurry if he attacks the hole.

TWill ballhogs to get assists instead of points.

    Not really much better, IMO.

Disagree all you want, but watch the game closely and you will see, just last night he made an excellent pass to Lee in the corner off of a cut, then put his hands out and hammed it up for the camera running down the court as Lee shot it.

And guess what? Lee missed, and instead of Twill being in position for the rebound he was looking at the cameras running towards his own end.

    Pathetic display.

He understands what his strengths are..I see him bumping Bud to the pine. His aggressive play will push him over the top as long as he facilitates.

I saw that too... he needs to cut the bull**** and just play the game.

It's obvious he's just out there to impress. He needs to stop playing the game for the cameras and start playing for himself... or better yet, the team.

He actually made the pass. Ducked down and ran down the court.

Had he stayed back and missed the rebound, we would not have had a soul in the backcourt to protect the fast break.

I know he is no Bud, missing virtually every shot he takes.....

Agreed, he seriously looks like he has an attention disorder and is desperate to get everyone to look at him.

Agreed. I also noticed a few occasions where he would lazily jog or walk down the court when we had the ball. No one else on the Rockets, not even Dalembert, was doing that.

Too many times he would get the ball, try to do some fancy moves ("fancy moves" is generous; all he did was dribble fast and shuffle from side-to-side, unable to get by his defender) and pass it away, draining the shot clock.

He can be good, no doubt. But he isn't right now.

Exactly right. As for mannerisms on the court that is a ridiculous way to assess someone's worth, DD. He is making rookie mistakes on defense. I have seen no lack of effort, although he settles for outside shots too often. His defense is obviously much better than Bud's even when he is struggling to get comfortable. Mchale has been very complimentary about how he has approached his work this season. I sure hope you (DD) don't judge the people in your life with your misguided perceptions of body language or is it body color?

Seriously that is funny, stop making excuses for him, that will only put his butt back on the bench.

He needs to stop clowning and start playing hard.

Agreed. I find it funny that we are talking about a guy being selfish, who over passes the ball.

Not sure I have seen a discussion like this before...

Watch the play bud. He ducked down and ran back. That's NOT an excuse it's fact.

Also, read my posts. I'm not saying he is a great player. I am saying he needs to take it to the hole more and stop over passing. Do you disagree with that, or are you so fixated on his extra curricular behavior that you no longer care about his game?
