Zero turnovers. No need to be so cruel by comparing him to Lin.

I can't believe someone compared him to Lin, lol, if anything Smith was more comparable to Lin tonight, some terrible turnovers and low IQ plays from him.

Jones missed some gimmies tonight but still played really well overall, nice to get some production from him especially with Dwight saddled with foul trouble.

    Update on his injury status?

TNT guys said he might need to go through concussion protocol.

Get better quick TJ,and beast for us again

Had a great Game 2 as well - offense & defense

Need him to stay active on the boards and defensively when he's in there. Kid has a ton of talent. Just needs to focus on his strengths and stay focused.

Ah totally forgot about him with Josh going off! He was very solid, showed great intensity, just missed some shots, but great hustle. Had a couple of nice offensive rebounds or at least a hand on the ball. I was scared this thread would be about his injury, hope it's not serious. True warrior TJ!

not his night and looked shaken up, what I love is the next man up mentality we have while everyone carries on outside of Houston that it's James' team and he is a one man band. Terrence was down Josh went off. Keep it going

Someone needs to go out and find him. He's been missing since game 1.

Really miss having DMo around when TJo struggles and vice versa.

It is a shame what injury did to him. With more experience he might have been a beast on another level.

You are so silly. Are you pretending to (mis)quote a question I asked about who Daryl thought were the THIRD most valuable players on our roster at the beginning of this season and last? A question by the way that you got wrong? Who ever said Jones was the second best anything?

T-Jones was awful tonight. I can excuse missing shots, but not constantly getting lost of defense.

He's trying to stir the pot between Dmo and Jones fans. If you take the a look at the X-Factor Dmo thread, you can see that him and Jones go at each other. Arguing who is better. Who is the 2nd best player behind Harden during the season and all that.

Jones' fans said that this team don't need Dmo 'that' bad, and that he'll be find in the playoffs. So basketballohic came here just to say that because of Jones' struggles in the playoffs.

    I'm just paraphrasing.

There are times when TJones looks awesome and you think WOW this guy is finally taking his game to another level....

And then there are times like in game 4 where you think WOW this guy has absolutely no basketball IQ, doesn't put a body on anybody in the paint when rebounding and has not weak side defense whatsoever.....

Doh! Third best player! Yeah, that's it. Third! "I was wrong...again." (I was assuming, you know, that he was still getting better from last year and had probably bypassed Dwight by now. Silly me.)

But.....your memory is failing you. I got your sneaky little question right and you even acknowledged it. Here tis, man.

Makes me think them little lunch meetings might involve sipping on white lightning that dobro brought when he joined you all.

He's producing at the same general level as last year in the playoffs against Portland at basically the same (or lower) efficiency.

But he's still young. And I'm sure his injuries are still bothering him. And...excuse 3. And....excuse 4. And....you know, he's got superstar potential. And...he's Terrence Jones, man. he's good. And...excuse 7.

(Meanwhile back at the ranch, Zach and Marc are watching video of 3-point shots clanging off the glass and rim, smiling, slurping their chicken noodle soup and licking their chops. And you think he's playing poorly now.)

McHale went to some strange lineups last night.
