And not just because he's left-handed.

His ball-handling skills and passing ability make him a very interesting player. He's not quite at Odom's level on that front, but he might be a little stronger and a better rebounder.

He has the potential to be a real matchup nightmare for the opposition.

Yep that's why I always thought he looked like a 3 at Kentucky.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play this season. I think Dwight and Jones will be great defensively.

Well I do rather much see him playing as a starter at power forward than seeing Greg Smith playing there. But I still want some one better.

Would you say he plays "smarter" than Lamar?

Remember last year in Summer League when Parsons (Mad Chicken) was looking really improved? Then had a stellar year in reg season.

I am thinking the same will happen this year with T Jones.

    Good comparison.

Odom in his prime was a better offensive player, great rebounder, and very good passer. He was able to play the 3 or 4.

TJones is a little more raw than Odom, and looks to be strictly a 4 right now.

Remember when donte green dropped 40 in summer league and we traded him for Kmart.

I see the same thing when we trade TJones/asik for Aldridge ;)

Donte Greene was part of a trade for Ron Artest.

I remember watching him live when the rockets came to town and I just kept telling my cousin this guy has so much potential. He is an absolute monster at times and i think we may have our future PF.

I was thinking like a Josh Smith-lite. With his athleticism he can become a good shot blocker and rebounder. He may not (though he could) be as good on the ball defender but I really hope he becomes a contributer for this team off bench or starter next season.

Thaddeus Young is who I think of when I look at his game.

His game doesn't really remind me if anyone's game...and that's a good thing. Be unique young fella. Set your own mold.

I think Lamar Odom is a great comparison, as is Chris Bosh. What's great about him as the people he's compared to have as well is the mobility to be a great team defender and pick-and-roll defender. Throw in his great shot-blocking and ball-handling skills and we've got a stud on our hands!

T Jones definately looks like a man who is NOT a rookie any more !
He is dominating in summer league imo.

Could we now have a pretty good answer at the 4 without braking the bank outside the circle ?

That would be one sweet Moreyism right there !

Anyone for a PEP RALLY ? HEll yeah !

I love me some TJones, but Lamar Odom in his prime was capable of some ridiculous stuff.

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Udu-nbozkbA?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I remember Odom used to have this nasty pump fake at the top of 3pt line that would end with him driving hard into the paint for dunk/free throws. If TJones did that, I would go bonkers.

Odom is a much better ball handler but I would imagine he would be Tjones' ultimate ceiling. I really hope that TJones not suffer from Odom's biggest weakness, lack of consistency.

Terrence Jones reminds you of Lamar Odom? Could be. Odom's versatility probably jumped out from the get-go; amazing handles for a forward.

Now, if Tjones would just go berserk on the paparazzi, then the comparison will really work.

Is a drama queen, married a drama queen, whines his way out of situations and gets rewarded for it?

    No thanks.
