Jones is a little wild with the ball handling. I'm on the edge of my seat when he has to bring the ball TO half-court.
I don't understand why we put a player like Jones down when the ELITE power forwards play well against him. They are the best in the game for a reason and their stats are not the result of playing against Jones 4 times a year. The West has the best collection of Power Forwards and Point Guards in the NBA so the same thing applies to Beverley. If Jones remains this active, then the team will be helped greatly even if an Aldridge is going off for 30+ compared to what the results were last year. You just can't have zero stats and allow your man to go off. Jones and Beverley are not great but they just have to be active and force the ELITE players to give effort on both ends.
Aldrige will not be able to drop 40 any longer since his two messed up thumbs will not let him.
he definitely added a few pounds. it will certainly help in the long run. i love when he faces up a defender and takes him on the dribble. very few PFs can guard him that way. i wish he would do it more often. let's also remember this dude JUST turned 23. aldridge averaged 18/7.5/2/1/1 (pts, reb, ast, stl) on 37 mpg terrance isn't that far off (more rebs and blocks than young alridge but less pts)
Dwight David Howard (born December 8, 1985)[1] is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). So, I guess December 8, 1985 to answer your question??
Notice this too. I wanted to see how Smith would guard him and he did as good as anyone could do. LMA hit a few shots. But he was forced into a 2nd move other than that crap he kills us with. That's all you can ask. Make him take contested shots and not get into too much of a rythm. I think that will be Smith's biggest worth to us, his defense against LMA, Griffin, Duncan, Randolph etc..
Love the blocked shots!!! Smith being on this roster and playing the same position really increases his motivation IMO. Not saying he wasn't motivated before, just that being a competitor had to increase it. Plus DMO surge. Power forward used to be a weakness. We'll see how Terrence (and Smith) do against guys like Aldridge and Blake. WTF  *Everyone who read "black" in the title is racist.
