Ok on Cam... But I think it can be argued that Steve Young had the best run by a quarterback ever.

And regardless of what you want Johnny to play like _ he still fits your description of a game changing quarterback and he's a better passer than Vick, VY, and Cam when they were coming out.

Young's run against Vikings is up there for sure. Only said Cams because he ran like Johnny but much bigger and faster.

What has helped Cam tremendously as a passer is his frame

He is able sit in the pocket and deliver the ball while taking a good lick from defenders

Smaller quarterbacks like Brees does the same. And RG3 took licks all year last year. Cam put in a lot of work. Had much more to do than with his frame... Because Schaub is a good size quarterback and we've seen him hit the ground like a sack of potatoes before the pass rush even got there.

BUT if the Texans really want Teddy Bridgewater... They'd be better off sending a 7th round pick to Buffalo and get Thad Lewis.

He was a pretty good RB pretending to be a QB for most of his career then he had that one good 12 game stretch in Philly where he actually played well as a QB, but that's the closest he ever came to having a good season in his entire career. He was more of a gimmick than anything.

    Very true.

One of the few QBs to go into Lambeau and best the almost unbeatable Brett Favre lead Packers in the snow.

He also did it with more than just his legs. People do forget.

And AJ Crumpler is the only consistent receiving option that I can remember he had in Atlanta. Vick had a cannon but had no one to fire it off at.

Didn't Vick get two $100 million contracts...???

Obviously the NFL viewed him much more than a gimmick quarterback.

Teddy Bridgewater is closer to Thad Lewis than he is Joe Montana.

And I would take Thad or Pryor over Teddy all day. Too late on Pryor tho. Houston should have got him back in that trade for Schaub instead of a pick they will probably blow anyway.

Reminds me of the movie where some some Gambino thugs blew a guy away in broad daylight only to find out they killed the wrong man

Rather odd considering that everyone says differently

Even the defensive coordinator of UH acknowledged that

Why is this thread still going -- Bridgewater isn't a #1 pick.

Yeah, he and Warrick Dunn if I recall correctly.

Man, if he had the likes of Julio, Roddy, and Tony he would have definitely took that team to at least 1 SB.

Poor Atlanta, I hope they do trade up to #1 so they can right that defense and we can draft Khalil Mack.
