Yeah. I really like Harden and there are times he puts in effort on the ball, but he will always be terrible off the ball. I don't even think he's average on the ball. Just a little under average. He needs to really work on it. I don't get why he's so bad. Earlier in the tournament it looked like he was playing good defense, but to be fair he was playing against scrubs. The NBA is different. It's going to be tough.
Dunno. Pretty consistent during the previous 8 games and a solid game today. Probably had the best story to win MVP. Either him or Faried. Went with Kyrie since he's more of a legitimate player than Faried though. At least Harden got to hold and raise the trophy at the end. I wonder whose idea that was? Don't really care that he didn't get the MVP. The gold medal is all the matters and it looks nice on the beard
Harden can't defend quick guards but he can defend in the post. He watches the ball and often gets beat when his man moves without the ball, but when that happens, do you want him to risk fouling? (my defense of Harden
I'm an American who is happy we won. But I'm just stating the facts. We have an advantage of a big and diverse population.
So if we spot them one point per 7 million people, we still would have won 38 pts at end of 3rd q. This Worlds performance by Team USA was quite shocking.
I was looking for every major national news media outlet in the U.S. besides ESPN and Fox Sports and not one single mention is being talked about the USA winning the FIBA World Cup. It's the poor scheduling on FIBA's part to put USA's gold medal game during the NFL, NCAA football, and European/International soccer league seasons. Next time they should put these tournament games on mid-July or early August.
Team USA would still beat the team world. But in a 7 game series...team world could possibly steal a game or 2.
Two, maybe three comments too many. Welcome to the internet. It's full of idiots who will make you sad to be a human. Now grab a drink, and turn on a good song.
