Teacher goes on racist rant, not realizing Zoom was on.

Would you rather get caught jerking it or going on a racist rant on zoom? Either way it’s career ending.

"Your son has learned to lie to everybody and make excuses," Newman apparently says on the recording. "Because you've taught him to make excuses that nothing is his fault. This is what Black people do. This is what Black people do. White people do it, too, but Black people do it way more."

Newman seems to claim in the recording that she and several other teachers had made failed attempts to reach Stokes throughout the school year to discuss her son's progress, saying it was "the first time I reached that woman the whole year."

"These parents, that's what kinds of pieces of s--- they are," Newman says. "Black. He's Black. They're a Black family."

The claim says that during the rant, Stokes called the school principal, who immediately called Newman and told her that her video was still on. Newman denied the remarks she made, still on video, while Stokes continued the recording.

Not good either way but these days it might be better to be known as someone with an over active libido and little impulse control than a racist. The latter culturally is more forgivable.

Teachers on the board, do you believe black parents are involved in their kids education like everyone else? It's interesting, white kids are falling back, white boys in particular. Interesting she says whites also just not as much

Obviously I rant on this topic obsessively, I'm not a teacher. I believe the problem with black kids and education starts in the home

To me a "racist" comment is black people are stupid or are natural criminals. This is an observation by someone in the trenches so I would relax on the racism accusations. She doesn't use slurs, she is referencing which is backed by statistics
