So you'd have to be able to prove that it was race and not attire in court, and it's probably not worth anyone's time or expense to do so.

yup. i had a hispanic friend not be let in a midtown bar because they said his jeans were too baggy. they weren't baggier than anyone else they let in.
I went to midtown over christmas, I didn't like it. apparently the gaslamp place was popular so a couple friends of mine went, one was white the other was a minority went there, they charged my minority friend and not the white friend to get in. really in houston? that's crazy.

That's why so many of these condescending racial lectures that people give out are so difficult to give credence to.
