I didnt want to put this out there but i will because ppl really dont know how close t-mac is to playing. On his skillzlab.com blogs he has stated that he will be ready for the start of training, he will meet with his teammates on the 28, also i asked him on a scale of 1 to 100 how his knee feels, and he said 99. I didnt want to say all this because then it would put extra pressure on him, but hey everyone needs to know sometime. I am just tired of hearing the uncertainty of him returning. Dont go to overboard though because this isnt exactly official news yet, but he has stated this on his website, so it is stil legit, just not big news as of right now, but it will be when training camp starts. Also he is just saying his knee feels fine, i dont know about all the other details about his athleticism. I do know that he has said he is in great shape, but i just posted on his blog what he feels after surgery he has either gained or lost, so he will either answer it or not.
It's great news that he is feeling great, but I won't trust him until I see him play his first 10 games.
My buddy labmate has been saying that he's finished 99% of his PhD thesis for like a year. So, 99% can be misleading Stop talking already, T-Mac; you will be making yourself a giant fool when after all these talks you relapse to your old injured self again
good info, but i dont care what he says about his knee. i wont get my hopes up until a doctor says hes 100% ready to play again. dont rush it tracy.
99pct that's good enough to start training camp and possibly start the regular season. Maybe he shouldn't start but that knee should be good enough to get some minutes off the bench. I'll believe it when I see it.
and for the record ppl, t-mac isnt talking just to talk because he has only posted this on one of his blogs on skillzlab.com. he hasnt come out to espn about this yet. he isnt running his mouth off, he just answered a question

I hope he takes his time to heal 100%. For all the grief he gets...and I'm not absent from some of the "hate", I don't doubt the he has seriously been injured and it has impacted his game, and that a healthy T-Mac, while never enormously efficient, can still be an all-star caliber player in this league. I'd rather he wait until he's 100% healthy and focused than rush it back.
I don't think we should count on him at all, anything he gives us this season should just be considered a bonus. BTW IF he is ready by the start of the season whose coming off the bench among him, Trevor, and Shane?
microfracture.........one day great....the next horrible. it is good that he feels good now. hopefuilly it will continue for him. it can be a tough road
You are crazy. Tmac is the leader of this team and he's coming back in the best shape of his life. Not count on him? That's ridiculous, he will be in the MVP running by the years end and you are saying not to count on him? That's like a Cavs fan saying not to count on Lebron. Tmac will prove you haters wrong.
What T-Mac says really doesn't matter. He said a lot of things last year, and look what happened. He just needs to show it on the court.
