Vince Young never had a quarter of the money T Mac's made.

Not including shoe deals and other endorsements.

I know we hate him, but come on, finances won't be an issue.

I believe Tmac is wiser than Vince Young as well as Tmac fans overall.

However, Vince Young isn't really broke (hasn't foreclosed his house, filed for bankruptcy), he probably has financial issues due to his generosity.

But Vince Young is a TRUE HOUSTON PRODUCT. Brought glory to his high school and state. His only reason for vilification here is that he played for the best university in the state and there are lots of jealous fans of other state universities.

He only wanted to play the city of Houston, but ended up playing for the former Houston Football Team, who left town because the city and major didn't agree.

The difference is the Tracy McGrady loves Tracy McGrady
    and Vince Young loves Houston

Basketball is more of an international sport than football, which is strictly American.

Tracy McGrady has legions of fans who can't find Houston on the map of Texas . They can't tell the difference between Frenchy's fried chicken vs Popeye's fried chicken.

Vince Young fans can tell you the difference plus tell you where Cheesecake Factory is.

Tracy McGrady fans don't know who Mattress Mack is, but they do know SpongeBob and Hamburgler and Grimace are.

Since Tmac left every team he was on in a bad way, who will he retire with? Are we going to have to sit through a 'thanks tmac' halftime show?

I doubt he will.......as much as the perception of McGrady has been tainted by his basketball related issues, I don't remember him ever having any off the court issues. I think he will go into retirement and be a wealthy man until the end of his days. Dude is set for life and so are his children.

Ya tmac is straight for life. Hea made 160 mil we know of plus another 40 mil from addidas I'm sure. He's never had any off court problems and really doesn't seem like the type of guy who goes out and party's all the time. If I'm not mistaken hea a big family guy and has a couple of kids and is married. Tmac is not a hall of famer but he's also not a moron like Vince young his kids kids kids should be straight as long as hes keeps the right ppl investing his Money.

He won't play in China. He knows they would expect him to hustle. No limp ####ing in the land of Yao Ming. He'd get his ass booed off the court and end up being thrown in a cage with a male Panda on Viagra.

Plus T-Mac does a lot in the NGO & charitable space. I see him probably taking a larger role in his foundation or something. Of course this won't amass him large amounts of money, but I'm sure he's fine money-wise. Like many have said, I don't see Mac as the Iverson/Antoine Walker type that blows through 200 mil that quickly.

I think Mac is smarter and more mature than that. (Also Mac didn't go to colleg, and the AI/Walker both did..... not that it means anything)

That's a very rosy way to spin that tale.

But I don't have anything against Vince Young, I just don't think he's the brightest guy ever.
