have you seen the drudge report? I'm not sure how long it will be up, but right now, they have an extreme close-up on the page.
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040201/nysu032_1.html HOUSTON, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The tearing of Janet Jackson's costume was unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and was inconsistent with assurances we had about the content of the performance. MTV regrets this incident occurred and we apologize to anyone who was offended by it. ------------------------------- MTV must think we are total idiots, why would she be wearing the decorative little pasty thing were this true?
ok.. that is *not* a pasty on her boob.. that looks more like a nipple shield and as I recall, janet jackson has her right nipple pierced.
Did anyone see a Pepsi-Gladiator style commercial during the Superbowl? I was watching one of those Access Hollywood shows the other day, and they previewed the SuperBowl commercial showing Beyonce, Pink, and Britney Spears walking in as gladiators and ending up dancing to "We Will Rock You." Anyway, I was looking out for it but don't remember seeing it.
Who tore what? I see the boob (Janet must think silicone is your friend), but I walked out of the room during that part and missed whatever "exposed" the boob. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks.
Completly, completly, completly staged I can not stress that enough. Justin reached over and ripped the top off Janet's right breast they both stood there and posed (look at the pics and the video I posted here) anything else other than we made a mistake by CBS and MTV is an insult to our intelligence.
CBS might not have known about it. I wouldn't put it past a few whigs at MTV to completely keep CBS in the dark about this. It's not an accident, that's the only thing I know for sure.
What the hell, I thought Terry Tate was supposed to be on tonight, that was the damn commercial I was waiting on. DAMN IT!!!
You may be right but one thing is for sure and I hope this is what comes from this. That is any future half time performances should be something the whole family can watch together, something we would be proud as Americans to have represent us. I have no problem with people lacking in talent pulling stunts to get their names out there but this was extremely inappropriate.
I also wanted to mention some of Kid Rocks lyrics laced with references of drug use and hookers and hos, surely CBS was aware of this.
Both the NFL and CBS claim that they did not know about the halftime flashing...and that they had attended the rehearsals and it was not supposed to happen.. and the NFL said that MTV would not be producing another NFL hafltime show.. and CBS is broadcastin apologies to anyone that was offended... EDIT: nevermind...I see this news is alreadybeing discussed in the SuperBwl thread..
So what was everybody's favorite commercials this year? 1. Simpson's Priceless 2. Fed Ex Alien "we're on to you Jenkins" 3. All of the AOL/American Chopper ones 4. Earnhardt Jr. Lipstick 5. Hendrix Pepsi I was hoping for some more of those ego maniac football player ones from Budweiser.
Thats one of the commercials I was waiting for but they never showed it. I also liked the one with the Scottish guy in the kilt is standing over the sewer vent airing out.
The Pepsi Gladiator commercial was made to be shown internationally only, I have no clue as to why? Maybe americans are tired of Spears or something.
