This coverage is already insufferable. Chris Mannix, who filled in for Dan Patrick today, said it perfectly. "Deflategate is to ESPN what missing planes are to CNN."

    I completely disagree.

Patriots defense may be underrated, but that doesn't mean Seattle won't be able to run on that defense. The same one that Justin Forsett gashed. If there's one thing Seattle's defense has proven time and time again, it's that it shows up no matter how good the opponent is offensively. I can see the Patriots getting a couple of TDs on this defense, but it'll be a close game. The Seattle Seahawks are the better team, clearly. Nothing about the Patriots thus far has shown that they are the better team. The one or two advantages that the Patriots might have is that they aren't playing a 100% Sherman or Earl Thomas. It'll be interesting how Seattle decides to play Gronk, I know if there's one SS in the league that can get physical with Gronk, it's Kam Chancellor.

Where does the idea that Seattle has a poor offense come from?

They were 9th in yards this year, New England was 11th.

In DVOA, Seattle was 5th offensively this season, New England 6th.

People are acting like this is the juggernaut Patriots offense from a few years back, while simultaneously acting as if Seattle is a totally inept team on offense.

Seattle has a SUPERIOR defense and a very good offense.

New England is a well balanced team on both sides of the ball, but not really elite at any aspect of the game.

Kam Chancellor has destroyed other tight ends before.

Clearly I'm still sleeping. Only way this all makes sense. Does this now mean Thomas would have to change his number to 11? Don't get me wrong, Seattle has great fans even if this always came across as a gimmick to me. I was over it once they began testing their crowd noise. Besides I thought Texas A&M already trademarked 12th man in 1990. Hasn't Seattle been paying them every year to use the phrase under a licensing fee? And what's with these miniature (highly intoxicated) Michael Jordan Superbowl emojis? They're awesome!

I wonder how he would have done in the days when the Secondary could actually hit the offensive receivers

This is a risky PR move by the Pats.

"We did everything as right as we could do it". They "followed every rule to the letter". Belichick will not publicly address the matter again after today.

Blamed the cold weather for the decreased pressure during the game.

Why did Brady stumble during his presser and why did Brady address the team privately if everything Belichick said today is true?
