?? Gold-diggers are reknowed for aggressively shopping around for suitors, but they still ask for an arm and a leg.
Man, Daryl Morey got the Pistons to give us a 1st round pick for Donatas, before everything fell apart.
Did you mean, "Before the Pistons lost their first two games after the All Star break, which coincided with the announced proposed trade, thereby leading the Pistons to come up with a cover story about DMo's health (a story that later became true, like some self-fulfilling prophecy, but at the time was complete b.s.")? To be fair, "before everything fell apart" is more concise.
checking in with latest update, just hope some day i open this thread, i read : EB is traded to rockets for a bag of peanuts, ahh i wish.......
Reggie is not very well liked around the league. He's not what you necessarily want in your locker room. Sure, he can put up points in a hurry, but so can a bunch of guys who are coachable and better teammates.
That's why the Suns wanted to unload him somewhere else. He's a known malcontent. Even with the Pistons he created serious problems in the lockeroom.
This is correct. Durant/James/Westy disliked him for that. He didn't understand his role after awhile. He was a great backup for RB and put up great numbers, but like so many players, the greed and ego got to him. Once he got that opportunity in Detroit, he blew it in the locker room, with SVG and apparently isolated himself from the rest of the team.
The pistons have been trying to deal Jackson since they got him. They even tried to deal him in the Anthony soap opera this summer. He is pretty much worthless.
It was actually worse. When Scott Brooks refused to make him a starter, RJ sabotaged his situation at OKC and forced them to trade him. For a guy that couldn't shoot, was a very poor defender and one of the most selfish guys you ever want to see, RJ thought a lot of himself. He didn't think coming off the bench at OKC maximized his earnings potential. As it turns out, he found a fool in SVG that would pay him.
