Damn, almost forgot they had Dragic, Isaiah and Bledsoe not so long ago. Already traded two of them and lost big time, so third time is a charme, huh?
Not a bad deal for the Bucks at all Monroe is useless on that squad. We keep talking about Chandler, but I don't know where he would land given his salary and a relative lack of demand for big man. Jared Dudley will probably be traded too
As long as he doesn't get highjacked by thunder or spurs i am ok. Wish we could work a three team trade between the pelicans and suns... get us cousins or anthony davis.
A 3 team deal with New Orleans works Pelicans get Bledsoe Eric Gordon Rockets 2nd round pick via Grizzlies PHX get New Orleans First Round pick Ryan Anderson Clint Capela Solomon Hill Rockets get Demarcus Cousins Tyson Chandler https://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6956536 We lose our Depth but we have the best starting 5 in the league Chandler/Nene Cousins/Tucker Ariza/Luc Harden Paul PS I would hate losing Gordon but the chance at this 5 is just too hard to pass up
After watching the 1st qtr of all 3 Suns games last week(Josh Jackson fan) it's clear that Bledsoe is a terrible starter... Yeah he plays on a shitty team but his floaters and brick shooting didn't help... He's the next/current Rodney Stuckey... Talented but not efficient enough to be an everyday backcourt starter... Might as well get rid of him since you're in an unintentional tank mode!
We can't get Bledsoe. At the minimum, he won't come here to be a backup. So we help facilitate a trade to get something good with one of the teams that wants him. Maybe get one of their backup PGs.
I'd say no. Maybe if we didn't get Chris Paul, but I find it highly unlikely we recreate the same predicament that plagued Phoenix during their competitive years earlier in the decade (they're three best players were all point guards - Bledsoe/Thomas/Dragic). We love our small ball, but no way a realistic rotation can properly utilize all four of CP3/Harden/Bledsoe/Gordon. Kind of makes me wish we had gotten a different free agent than CP3, just because I bet Bledsoe gets traded for peanuts. Phoenix has literally no damage, and we've already seen the lousy packages that can land damaged goods (Boogie Cousins, and Bledsoe is way less valuable). Obviously hindsight is 20/20, and am in no way criticizing the decision to bring in CP3.
Love Bledsoe as a PG upgrade for the Nugs or Bucks. I get why the Knicks are interested, but they should embrace the rebuild, and Bledsoe helps New Orlean's backcourt but they'll still have the spacing issues from before. They need some shooters
Hahah, probably, but I don't really consider the take so egregious that its obvious sarcasm. Ask who you'd rather have a calendar year ago, and I bet 9/10 would go with Bledsoe.
If I were the Bucks, I would go all in. They need to add better players around Giannis, especially in the second unit. Delly, Telly need to be upgraded. The following trade would work: http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y7uew4h7 Bucks IN: Bledsoe, Dudley, Chandler Suns: Delly, Teletovic, Thon, Monroe, 2 1st round picks That's basically three trades in one. Chandler for Monroe (expiring, so higher trade value than Chandler), Dudley for Teletovic (same contract), Bledsoe for Maker, Delly (salary fill) and two picks. The Bucks can start Brogdon, Snell, Middleton, Giannis, Chandler, and bring Bledsoe, Dudley and Henson off the bench. When Parker returns, Snell goes to the bench. That would be a full squad that can do damage in the playoffs. Bledsoe can add some much needed scoring punch off the bench and lead the team when Giannis sits. Bledsoe, Snell, Brogdon would get 30-32 mins each. Giannis would play C when Chandler sits. The Suns get to clear around $20m cap space, get a young talent at C that fits well with their young power forward, plus two picks.
