Zhou Qi = CMo = Chinese Motiejunas
Isaiah Hartenstein = GMo = German Motiejunas
Now we just need to re-sign DMo and then we can play the triple towers lineup

Remember Yao came in really skinny also, beefed up some with some of the best food in the US right there in Houston.

I miss the food. The food in Portland is terrible. Great beer though.

DM surely knows where to eat. I'm sure he'll be on the "Morey" diet.

    No dude...... just, no lol.

Yao and Zhou have completely different body types. Not even the same sport.

He might can bulk in some muscle, but he isn't even DMo bulk range, much less Yao bulk. He's 7'2" at 215, he might get to add 25 lbs in 2 years...... might.

I'd go on to say if he hit 250 he'd be too heavy, his game is not the NBA 5, he's the new NBA 4.

I dun think he can defend 5s but there are not a whole lot of killer 5s on Offense at this point.

He will be fine, mostly at 4.

Anyone else feel confident in Isaiah Taylor's performance? 10a, 1 to...

Shoots like trash, but his passing seems very fitting for PnR. They were creative, timely, and obviously not intercepted. It's one game sure, but since we needed guard depth anyways, this is encouraging. If he can hit threes and play stingy D, this is PBev light but taller.

How do you think he shoots like trash when he hasn't officially attempted a 3 in that one game?

Maybe not shooting at all is like trash?

He has improved probably, was a fringe prospect.

I'm a UT alum that keeps up with our major teams. I also go to the games from time to time.

Yea. I mean I hate to knock a guy that I thought was a good floor leader, but his shots were volatile and poorly timed in college. However, as a second or third option to run a PnR strategy (esp now with Zhou, Nene, and Cap), he has a place on our roster imo.

I hope we can fill the roster with veterans but yeah he is a good 14th, 15th man if it comes down to that.

agreed, as another UT alum myself. he showed some good poise in pick and roll. really improved that aspect and as we all know he can get to the rim and finish with tony parker-esque floaters. his shot is definitely bunk but hopefully he's been working on it. i haven't really kept up with the vipers TBH.

as for zhou, dude looked way better than i imagined. strong debut, very interested to see his progression from here on out. can't wait for Joe Chee to become the new CF meme
