Feel bad for this chick/dude. Not fair at all if she/he gets punished for her/his husband's...eccentricities...thanks to a bigoted public and some money-grubbing relatives.
Have family that are friends with the fire fighter's family and they said that she/he was at the fire station two days after his death asking how much she would get from his death. I'm thinking he/she is after the money and nothing more.
And filing this suit and dragging this laundry out isn't about the money? I'd personally think the half the widow would get would be a small price to pay for keeping something like this under wraps...for the sake of the kids for sure if we're talking about what's best for the kids. I'm just waiting to hear when he/she had the surgery. If she had it after their marriage like she claims...then they should leave her alone and honor his (firefighter's) wishes...even if they don't agree.

She has a book coming out, a movie, and she is trying to get a network to feature her in a reality series.
