The TNT Crew are not analysts. They are former players who have to talk about the games but are mostly there for entertainment. Your supposed to laugh at them, not take them seriously. It's annoying when Kenny Smith tries to sound smart. Just shutup and be funny like Barkley and Shaq please. Even Ernie is funnier than Kenny.
Theirs no way in hell kobe would join that crew or ever do TV. Kobe is above tv he wants to run the show that does the numbers not be the guy getting paid to make the show get numbers. Kobe is a really smart guy he’s made really great investments and he mingles with the super elite. He’s in a different class than Shaq Barkley and Kenny plus he’s got a lot more money than all 3.
Kenny Smith, the only guy on TV who doesn't know what to say when they ask him something ever. Dude literally figuring out what to say live and makes all of us suffer through his hesitation and stuttering. Gets paid to talk on TV and can't talk on TV?!?!

Drama sells and it's their job to create a narrative. It's all frameworked if not scripted. If they all pick Houston and we smack GSW, then where's the fun in that? They occasionally have good, salient info but for the most part, it's when I go take a dump, which is more satisfying and productive.
If you are getting butt-hurt by the comments of Barkley, EJ shaq and kenny, you're watching the show wrong. Please, it's not suppose to be that serious lol. It's just some jocks watching sports, making jokes, giving their off the cuff & often not well thought out opinions... but primarily just goofing around. Best NBA show hands down & one of the funniest shows in general on tv. Anyone watch Shaq shooting Barkley with the super soaker or the Jeopardy skit lol.
