I do not watch p*rn. I do, however, enjoy a trip to the strip club on bachelor parties and Vegas trips.
I'm sure there are some folks reading this thread right now with another window open on their desktop that has a p*rn site up.
I'm on this site with another window open on the Wiki page for tribbing. Needless to say, both of these tabs are relevant to my interests.
I'm sure there are some with a p*rn window up right now. They do not feel like typing a reply with the one hand left available. Even with my infamous moral high standards, I've got to concede a bit of this one to the enemy... like no guys are going to completely, entirely go without looking at a little of it, even if it's just once in a great while. Fine. Boys will be boys. For the record, though, I don't find it appealing at all myself. Women do not tend to be as visual. If we want something to turn us on, we can cook up nice little fantasies in our own mind. It will be more emotional and romantic, and less visual, than what men like to see. I think reading material is more attractive than visual p*rn - something about what's in the minds of the people, and not just having it all out there and physical. If you look at those cheap romance novels women read, they all have a few good, ummm, scenes thrown in. I wouldn't be surprised if women skim over the plot and silly dialogue to get to these.

it's not just finalsbound? [rquoter]Women Love p*rn, Too! Why women are now discussing sex tape titles and Internet p*rn sites more than ever. -Faye Brennan It’s no mystery why men love watching p*rn – guys are visual creatures and get turned on by watching others do the deed, just as much as they get turned on when we flounce around the bedroom in sexy lingerie. Conventional wisdom has always been that women, on the other hand, need physical caresses and sweet nothings whispered into our ears to get excited, and aren’t turned on by or even interested in p*rn. Au contraire! These days, young women aren’t shy about admitting that they too, enjoy XXX material – a lot of it, and in many different forms. Read The Truth About p*rn Recently, Oprah dedicated an episode of her show to this growing trend, finding some staggering statistics: In the U.S., one out of three consumers of internet p*rn are women, which means that 13 million of us are watching p*rn at least once per month online. Rachel Kramer Bussel, 34, Senior Editor at Penthouse Variations and editor of the Best Sex Writing series says that young women are definitely taking advantage of this $10 billion a year industry. “Women around my age and younger feel like adult material, including p*rn videos, photos, erotica and also just racy photos are for them to look at – just like guys do.” With all the variations of adult material to choose from, p*rn has become a hot topic of discussion between groups of girlfriends. “My girlfriends and I talk openly about adult material and toys, and how they can spice up a relationship or even how we use them for our own enjoyment,” says Karie Herring, 31, author of The Five Fish. “We actually have very lively and entertaining conversations about adult material, almost as if we were talking about purses.” Elizabeth*, 35, agrees. “ I speak openly about it with my friends. I have always enjoyed adult material – mostly movies, videos, and sex toys – I have simply found them arousing most of my sexually active life and haven't really had shame about sharing that with my friends.” Have women in their 20s and 30s lost their censors, thanks to years of hearing about celebrities making sex tapes and p*rn stars writing books, or are we truly kinkier than our mothers and grandmothers? Or has adult entertainment just wised up and started making material that women find more acceptable to watch and read? Jenna Jameson, the most successful p*rn star in the world, told Oprah her views on why p*rn is now so popular among women. When she started her own production company, ClubJenna, with her ex-husband, Jay Gardina, her videos sold millions of copies, especially to female consumers. “I was having sex with my husband in the movies and I think that’s why they sell so much, because you see love there. I loved it cause it was very erotic and knew women would love it, too.” Bussel too believes that the p*rn game has changed – there’s enough material out there now specifically made for women, so there’s no need to feel shame in declaring “I watch p*rn and like it!” “There are sites like Kink.com for those wanting something more hardcore, alternative p*rn at burningangel.com, and many sites made by women with women in mind,” she says. “Some women find pornographic material demeaning to women, and there are certainly times when I will come across material I find exploitive or disturbing,” says Julie*, 35. “But, I simply don't watch those movies. To me, it’s like a preference for drama, comedy or horror films. I hate horror films so I don't watch them. Similarly, I don't watch adult videos that turn me off or repulse me.” Read Why p*rn is Teaching Your Man Bad Habits in Bed Dana B. Myers, of Booty Parlor, Inc., says sexual desire is in our human nature and giving in to those desires is something we’ve always done. The only thing that has changed is that young women are now more inclined to talk about it. In fact, talking about it is validating: “Having a friend mention, ‘Hey, have you checked out YouPorn.com? I sometimes watch it to get turned on and use my toy!’ makes a woman say to herself, ‘Yes, this is OK! I do it, I enjoy it, I’m still a normal woman,’” says Myers. “If a friend can validate her curiosity and her experience, then she feels more comfortable to explore.” “I am an executive and most of my friends are corporate ladies and the ones I am close to all admit to liking p*rn on the internet, sexy books, and sex toys,” says Michelle, 38. “I think p*rn helps give women the confidence to be more sexual in their relationships. I know it has worked for me.” Whatever the reason, p*rn is on young women’s brains, and we’re not afraid to admit it – at least to our girl friends. But, should we be as open about our p*rn-watching habits with our boyfriends or husbands? Myers believes woman should always share their XXX choices with their guy. “I’ve never, ever met a man who didn’t like a sexy movie,” she says. “Men are visual creatures and they’re all watching it online, whether you know it or not. So, how great for him to not only not have to hide his sexy internet surfing, but to be able to share it with his girl? In my experience, the man has always been thrilled to discover that his woman enjoys a bit of titillation – visually with p*rn, or with a sexy story.” Do you share with your girlfriends your p*rn watching habits? How about with your significant other? *Names have been changed.[/rquoter]
