77429 grant & louetta in cypress. Got water, food, propane and propane accessories, 3 5ths of top shelf tequila, 1.5 gallons of rum and some KB for when the kids go to bed. I'm looking forward to some poker and pool by candle light.

    North Houston 77037!

I plan on going out tonight so I'm sure the freeways towards downtown will be clear.

77901 Victoria. Boarded up my windows using Plylox, very easy to use. My daughters went Dallas with my ex and I have 2 kids here, my wife, mother-in-law, and aunt, nephew and 3 dogs.

Frankly, if you can just pass out it will lessen the impact. It's not like you can really do anything while it's hitting anyway. You just say Holy ***** a lot but you reach the saturation point of amazed about half way through.

I did get a second wind of Holy S*t during Alicia. The eye passed over my house in The Woodlands and it got totally clear and nice. Then it just kicked my ass from the other way.

    West Houston, 77055.

Staying for now, leaving to Katy if there's a higher than maybe chance of losing power.

Full tank of gas, water, who-knows-how-old batteries, and years of reading material.

Staying put up here in Klein. I suspect some trees go down and power is out for 2-3 days. Let's hope for a cat 2 rather than 3 and a little bit more East.

I'm at the house now, in League City. Wife and kids are gone to M-in-Law's house in Temple, and I'm getting ready to go back to work. Gotta be back at 1am, ready to stay there till Sunday.

I get to watch the storm roll in off the ship channel.

Klein area here (77375). We are staying and have all of our crap to rough it for a couple of days. If we still do not have electricity come Monday or Tuesday, we will hop a plane to somewhere.

If the winds and rain have died down, I can't imagine the airport not working.

westview. 77055. Spring branch district. Civilians with me would include my nephew and my sister.
The bunker is fully loaded to neutralize Ike's invasion. I have enough junk food and newly purchased films to last me exactly 250 hours, a little over 10 days. If I don't report by Saturday at 11 am, my communication lines may have taken a hit. =(

    Godspeed
