Frankly, if you can just pass out it will lessen the impact. It's not like you can really do anything while it's hitting anyway. You just say Holy ***** a lot but you reach the saturation point of amazed about half way through. I did get a second wind of Holy S*t during Alicia. The eye passed over my house in The Woodlands and it got totally clear and nice. Then it just kicked my ass from the other way.

I'm at the house now, in League City. Wife and kids are gone to M-in-Law's house in Temple, and I'm getting ready to go back to work. Gotta be back at 1am, ready to stay there till Sunday. I get to watch the storm roll in off the ship channel.
