I thought Boomers loved their gold or something. Saw something on yt where this "Silver Tsunami" of housing will not mean there will be greater supply. Some children will benefit, but a good number will have that equity shrivel up due to healthcare costs and death estate resolution and that cohort of inheritors who can't afford to live in the boomer house plus the remainder of dirt poor Boomers will have their houses swept up by private equity and for-rental property groups.
