Hey guys, made a thread for this but thought I should post here too since my thesis is about investing.

I am doing my master's thesis in finance and have wrote up a small survey (one question!).

I would be really grateful if some of you guys could fill it out. I'm trying to get as much people as possible :)

    Thanks!!!

It's about behavioural finance/herd behaviour and trying to determine it's possible application in certain micro-bubbles (for instance the colorado pot-rush of last year).

Look at break out in bonds and crude about to kiss $44. Not good...
This breakout in bonds never happens ahead of payroll #. Us economy rolling over at solid clip.

As good as any time bump this. Time to evacuate Katy?

One would think free money (low interest) will have to end eventually. The whole growth bubble coming to an end.

It is going to be bad. We are just getting started on the downside. I will be selling every rally until the fed panics with qe4 threats and then implementation.

Any reason why you think the Fed is going to do another QE? I think that's pretty far out there in terms of possibilities.

Any advice for a 29 year old who started investing in 2009 who has only seen the market going higher and higher?

I got a 401k through my company and investing in a vanguard mutal fund that I put ~10% of my income into both. For all you seasoned vets out there, stay the course? Invest less of my income? More of my income? By greedy when others are fearful? What's the deal?

I've never heard of anyone considering further QE at this point. Best case scenario is the Fed not tightening till next year.

Just put your money to an index fund with low expenses. Trying to time the market is pointless. Over a period of 30 years or so you will get 10% on average.

I think a decent bounce will be around 1830 on the SPX. I would buy all the way down to 1790. If it breaks that I would stop out.

Man I just hope we don't reverse. This open is gonna be golden if we don't.

The panic out there on Friday was stupid. A very good trader I know had his grandma call him on Friday to make sure he was ok. My mom was worried about how she would sell her house because of the stock market crashing. No mom you don't have to worry about selling your place. One of her friends was ready to dump all the stocks in his retirement account on Friday, but he didn't. He's really gonna be ready to dump Monday. Plus this thread getting bumped is another indicator. Usually the activity of this thread leads the bottom by a day or two.
