Thanks. Will try this one more time. Holding UVXY longs over night. Something tells me I won't be sleeping too well tonight.

If we don't correct here soon from this 2000 area we are probably in for a run to 2020-2025 are before this thing slows. On the /es that is.
i'm taking an investing class for my MBA this semester. we're going to get $1,000,000 fake dollars to invest with throughout the semester on stocktrak.com should be pretty fun!
I just bought CHUY (Chuy's Tex-Mex). It's near its 52-week low and is starting to expand a lot more outside of Texas. Thus far, most of Chuy's non-Texas locations have been in small/rural areas (think Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Oklahoma). However, apart from the new Sugar Land location, the company is also expanding to two new locations in the metro Washington, DC area. I think this will really boost profits, given the size of the DC market and their current lack of decent Tex-Mex (even if you don't consider Chuy's "decent Tex-Mex", it's still far better than what they currently have in the DC area). These two metro DC locations will also be Chuy's first large "out of state" market, which should be interesting. Also, they just opened their first Sugar Land location this week, which is sure to be profitable for the company (given Sugar Land's demographic and dining preferences).
Alibaba is like Ebay+Amazon in China. It basically controls China's e-commerce (about 80%). In China e-commerce is growing like crazy these past few years, and it is probably just the beginning. If you plan to own any Chinese stocks, I guess Alibaba would be a fairly good choice.
They are the Amazon and Ebay of China. They've tripled their profits recently. Yahoo owns a large stake in them. It's going to be the biggest IPO in US history. probably stuff you already know i had that class tonight and the teacher showed us a ranking of his students from over the summer. majority were in the negatives and the leader only had 2.xx% gains... given that was only over a 2 month period, but that is still a ridiculously low bar to set. he did say that one semester he had a student with 100% gains, so i guess we'll see how it goes.
nice. sometimes that is good. in the meantime you got to read up about all the BS trade possibilities for the rockets ha ha ha
