Here's what Democrats have gotten added into the bill in the last day. Are you opposed to these things? $240 billion in health-care relief $75 billion in aid for hospitals An inspector general to oversee the $500 billion pool of federal relief funding for ailing industries
For y’all who keep in bringing up Pelosi. Again she doesn’t have a say in the Senate. Yes a bill needs to pass the House too that’s what conference committees are for. We’re not even at conference committee because it can’t get through the Senate yet. One of the reasons why is thanks to Rand Paul there isn’t actually a GOP majority in the Senate. Further the Trump admin is conducting a separate negotiation with Schumer. In that sense Mnuchin and Trump are as much to blame as Pelosi.
Because Moscow Mitch is playing political games. He knew this bill will not pass. He is a scummy piece ****. He knew the Democrats would not pass this bill. So instead of working with them he is trying to sabotage the Democrats at the expense of the actual people who needs the funds now. What an *******
Hannity called it a hoax. Your media sources are always full of ****. They just spent two weeks belittling the seriousness of it.
So it passes "The bill is also expected to include roughly $100 billion in assistance for hospitals; $350 billion in assistance to small businesses; $500 billion in aid for corporations, including airline companies and cruise lines, that have been hurt by the outbreak; and about $150 billion for state and local stimulus funds." What's the difference between AID and ASSISTANCE? Rocket River
Where's the link and what did you omit ? We know what was in Pelosi's bill .... and none of that was in it. You guys should post links to your information ....
"The full details have yet to be released. But over the last 24 hours, the elements of the proposal have come into sharper focus, with $250 billion set aside for direct payments to individuals and families, $350 billion in small business loans, $250 billion in unemployment insurance benefits and $500 billion in loans for distressed companies." "The stimulus bill also has a provision that would block President Donald Trump and his family, as well as other top government officials and members of Congress, from getting loans or investments from Treasury programs in the stimulus, according to Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's office." https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/25/politics/stimulus-senate-action-coronavirus/index.html
This is the "explainer" from Senator Schumer... https://www.capitolnewsforum.com/post/senate-cuts-coronavirus-rescue-deal-schumer-s-explanation
I love the edits and the music. Real dark! Not arguing with the content because I haven't seen all these clips in full but I don't want to hear ya'll complaining about project veritas anymore.
Schumer leads, McConnell follows like a whipped dog. You'll have to excuse leader McConnell who's spent the last 12 years not actually legislating.
I would not know what they reported on Fox. I haven't watched that network for anything other than debates in almost a decade. That being said nobody in the administration has called the actual virus a hoax.
[Educational Post] Actually the opposite is true. It took a leader like McConnell to pimp slap the Democrats into removing their extraneous partisan fantasies from the bill. The Democrats, like self-centered opportunists, tried to insert things in the bill like transgendered Native American climate change reparations. It took McConnell, and believe it or not, the mainstream media, to check Schumer/Pelosi's insanity. GOOD DAY
TBH, I could not care less what that blowhard Hannity said but I bet if the entire dialogue he actually said was played without selective editing he did not call the actual virus a hoax. Nobody in the administration has called the actual virus a hoax. Now many people on the left did say Trump was overreacting and being xenophobic when he put in the original travel bans due to the virus in late January.
Yeah people are calling the dems response a hoax... or something to that effect. I really don't have time for Hannity too. He's not a real person and just a character that shifts opinion to push agendas. Just a bloated talking head.
Why are people in Trumps camp thinking that the China travel ban is the one hill they are going to die on and rinse repeat anytime there is any criticism of Trump's response? You are also conflating the criticism of Trump going way out of his way to distract from the response with the whole "Chinese Virus" nonsense where he absolutely was appealing to racism as a DISTRACTION (classic troll the media move) with his administrations decision to ban travel to China. Nobody I know of at the time criticized banning travel from China other than the fact that it was already too late (obviously since we now are projected to have some of the worst numbers). You are conflating here for political purposes so you can try and have a coherent defense of Trumps response. Nobody should buy that BS. Trumps response always starts back in 2018 when he fired the Pandemic Response team simply out of spite for Obama. Pandemic responses start with your preparation and your investment in things like science that prevent & contain outbreaks... working with our global partners. We all knew an outbreak was inevitable at some point, and we were very fortunate in the past that Ebola,H1N1, and other SARS viruses never got this bad. And obviously Trump still does not take this seriously, and everyone knows it. He's only thinking about politics, re-election, and the economy which is both personal (his businesses are losing money), and political (he knows his re-election is going to be mostly about the economy). So I'm not sure this China ban is such a great defense hill to die on, and your conflation there seems to point to some desperation for making that defense line really stick.
