He was completely unremarkable at Pitt. Very surprised by his emergence. He was the unsung hero of this San Antonio series.
His college stint was essentially a trial by fire - remember he went straight from New Zealand HS ball to Pitt. He was always a project/potential player and thankfully he's worked hard and done great
Very early in the draft evaluation process, there were rumors OKC made a promise to Adams. IIRC, he stopped workouts with other teams. I never heard of the guy until he was linked to OKC.

he doesn't seem to get phased by green/bogut tactics at all, in fact he seems to thrive on that style of play. maybe it's the NZ rugby influence
Annoyed by those tactics? He is the master of them. Steven Adams is the most annoying player in the NBA. Bogut and Green have nothing on him.
Problem nobody is talking about in OKC, maybe Bima can figure this out. Can OKC keep this team together? Westbrook -max Kevin- max Ibaka- big money Kanter- big money Adams- Is gonna want big money Could we poison pill one of their bigs ?
True, Parsons pill was medicine we had to take, however when the time arrives I wonder if management would pounce on OKC. That is a lot of money to be handed out to those hands from the OKC roster.
