He's the best shooter in the NBA. Hated it when we let him go.

Steve Novak proves that the most important skill in basketball is shooting. He does nothing else well. He has finally become an adequate team defender. He's making millions of dollars because he can shoot it. Dude is sick. And is extremely undervalued, perhaps the most undervalued player outside of max salary players.

Agreed. Someone that shoots almost 50% from the 3pt line? Ridiculously undervalued.

He would be good in the regular season but he would be pretty tough to use in the playoffs. He just can't guard anyone and teams would have time to gameplan for him and they would just overcompensate to stop his one skill.

The league adjusts. I mean even Matt Bonner has a better off the dribble game.

I'm not saying he's overrated but he has significant limitations IMO. It would be interesting to see him on a team like the Spurs.

"Rumors abound that Carmelo is unhappy with the attention Steve "Sniper" Novak is getting. Don't be surprised if 'Novaksanity' is moved by the deadline."

Whats amazing is almost all of them were contested. Novak would beat anyone in a 3 point contest.

If he's not in the all-star weekend competition this year, there's a serious problem.

His height and length are what is underrated. He's not getting half of those shots off at 6'6.
