Why is Steve going out with a 20 year old? Wasn't he married? So, one theory is she killed him cause he rejected her? I tend to think Steve shouldn't have put himself in such a situation.
http://www.techbanyan.com/4656/sahel-kazemi/ It says here the girl was born in Iran and migrated to the US not that long ago. I guess she fell on some hard times and struck gold with McNair for a while there. Having looked at the pics, she is one fugly chic and it just makes it even sader than McNair may have been killed over that
I agree with your last statement. I don't know why people think they can undervalue a marriage. If you are married, you should be dedicated only to that one person. It's why I couldn't appreciate McGrady either. He parades around all the time with ladies that aren't his wife. It's a side of athletes/entertainers that seems to not come with consequence (until it's gone too far).
That pretty well sums up my feelings, as well. Even though he spent most of his career in Tennessee and didn't get to do much in his brief time in Houston, he was still a Houston Oiler before he was anything else in the NFL and that alone put him in the "good" column for me. Watching him play, overcoming injury and all that, while (at least from the outside) coming across as a good guy certainly made it easier to keep rooting for him, even if I wasn't rooting for his team.
I think you'd be suprised at the number of athletes who have a little something/someone on the side outside of their marriage.
So he's a pro athlete and he should get respect, but she's "no one" who you deem as unattractive so the tragedy isn't for both of them, it's double for him? Tacky comment.
in what situation? the situation that you have no clue about? D'OH! steve probably should have known what was coming to him when he didn't act like a perfect human being.......
I think there are plenty of average people who have a little something/someone on the side. Heck, even some of our Presidents.
Unless you have some great self control you should never get married if you're an athlete. I don't agree with the notion that he deserved this because he was married, this could have played out the same way even if he was not married. R.I.P. to both McNair and the girl.
we can say he shouldn't been sleeping with another woman, but no one should be exepected to be killed. sadly we may no never what happened.
And I'd bet that we'd be very suprised how many of those wives are Ok w/them having a lil action on the side.
There was a report in one of the Tenn papers that another 20 something yr old woman had confronted McNair in the restaurant earlier that night accusing him of slipping her a roofie in the past year. The story also said the girl told McNair that her boyfriend was going to kill him. As for the murder/suicide angle it was also stated that the cops didn't find the gun right away. This is a bad story no matter how you look at it. Noone should be killed for cheating on their bf/gf huband/wife. RIP Steve.
TMZ has pictures from a beach vacation of the two: http://www.tmz.com/2009/07/05/mcnair-and-his-friend-before-the-shootings/
