    Happy... 4th? :(

I wonder how different the Titans would be today if they had kept McNair after they drafted Vince... couldve used the mentorship.

Sounds like McNair and a woman were shot to death by someone who then may have committed suicide. Wow.

At least his was to the back of the head so we can safely say it wasnt him doing the shooting.

    McNair's new restaurant open

By Andy Humbles The Tennessean • June 22, 2009

Steve McNair has a new restaurant, Steve McNair’s Gridiron9, up and running at 2719E Jefferson Street in Nashville.

The former Tennessee Titans quarterback opened the eatery specializing in grilled menu items, on Friday, June 19.

McNair has been active in the start of his restaurant that seems to have a bit of a college town flavor. He plans to be at the restaurant at some point each day that he’s in town, McNair said.

Locating the first Gridiron9 near Tennessee State University is by design, he said. The quarterback wanted to offer “good … healthy food,’’ and would be affordable to typical college students, McNair said.

Several current Titans have dropped by to sample the menu as well. Vince Young, Keith Bulluck and Jevon Kearse were all in Gridiron9 Monday afternoon.

I only see reference to homicide in the OP's link. No mention of suicide.

I wonder why espn is so slow in reporting it. I know its the 4th but espn news is pretty much live now and has nothing on it.
