I was at his All-Star Party at Hughes Hanger last year and sitting right behind him in the VIP area/ stage. (Technically, I was part of Dr. J's Legends Party which was before Steve's party but we ended up just sharing the area). He got on the mic and talked for a minute welcoming folks to his party and he was really lit and slurring. Granted, it was All-Star weekend and I wasn't in the best of shape myself but I really hope he can get it together because he was one of my favorite Rockets.

I think he just got fat. No big deal.

Yao looks pretty fat these days as well.

Shaq, Charles Barkley both look huge but we see them every week so we're use to the weight gain.

SF3 we don't see on a regular basis so we still remember his during his prime when he had 5% body fat and was an all star in the NBA.

I know he did some drugs in his youth.

I'm not sure if he still does it or it's just a case of him eating too much and not exercising like he use to playing NBA basketball.

But one thing to keep in mind, many drug users are bone thin and can't maintain their weight so I'm not sure if he still does drugs.

I would guess it's just weight gain and father time. Plus a bad pic

Yeah it's called HIPAA. She could seriously lose her job if her identity is found out.

It's not the fat... it's the fact that he looks like my grampa.

Most of the hard core drugs like crack, cocaine, crystal meth make you lose all your weight and you look like a skeleton.

Only drug that makes people gain weight is mar1juana and it's legal now in several states.

Honestly it's probably just weight gain from eating too much and not playing basketball anymore.

Drinking too much is a possibility

Thing is... he doesn't look 'fat' per say. He looks oddly bloated.

I don't think it's from drugs. Drinking too much and go out to clubs too much is a possibility. More likely the weight gain makes him look older and his fashion isn't that flattering.

I'm not sure. Maybe it is from drugs but most drinks make you lose all your weight and he looks over weight

Too much sodium. A tablespoon of soy sauce contains about 2 pounds of salt.

Crack doesn't make you fat or skinny.

A lot of crack users just quit eating.

Man I really miss Cuttino Mobley. Good all around athlete, his wife taught high school I think in the Mission Bend area. Damn man, this team really needs to go back to the glory days again, The Rockets deserve better, good luck should rise once again.
