Francis was stopped by a Precinct 5 deputy around 11:20 p.m. for speeding. He was reportedly traveling 88 mph in a 65 mph zone. The deputy smelled alcohol and reported that Francis was belligerent. Three additional deputies were called to the scene and tried to get Francis to park his vehicle in a parking lot but he was uncooperative. There was no physical confrontation but deputies said Francis did refuse a field sobriety test. He was arrested and was taken downtown without incident. He is being charged with DWI, possession of mar1juana and retaliation. There is no word on why Francis is being charged with retaliation.
They need to stop associating this guy as Houston Rocket. Don't show him at the games either. He needs to go see a psychiatrist to get his life back in some sort of order
I don't think there are any good pics of him anymore. He's aged poorly, looks like a guy who has lived a hard life of back breaking work and hard drugs.
Guys, there is not necessarily any relation between getting a DWI and looking like the grim reaper...

That is a humiliating picture.... hurts my own pride just having seen it. Submissive as ****. Seriously, how did he go from his upbringing and being fearless on the court.... to TRON from the club. I met or was around Steve a number of times when he was in his prime, and his personality wasn't to be super submissive. Now... if he ever goes to prison we all know he will be the guy painting his nails and being passed around general population by his owner for a pack of Newports.
Francis has no effect on the Rockets' look. He doesn't matter, and he's barely associated with the team. He's not seen at many games.
