the double flop was just hilarious, though West's stumble was from Lebron's flailing foot after being apparently shot by an invisible harpoon. David didn't have to flail the arms though!
Smart move by Stern -- fine Lebron James for flopping and no one can say the league is afraid to call the stars floppers.

they gave Wade a flagrant the West flagrant i believe was pushing Wade during a fastbreak at the end of the game (Wade got 2-and-1 on that fastbreak).
oh this is going to turn out to be a good day, james finally fined for flopping, could've been fining him the entire season, but now that they know everyone is watching the playoffs they can't just let it go
True, the amount is insignificant. But the best part I think is that this comes so close to James' idiotic "I don't flop" statement. Reporters should call him out on this. Anyway, wtf?! Battier should be fined like 50k!
The only reason they are doing this is because there were some controversial calls. Also, David West was hit in his chest by Lebron and he tripped him up so that fine is unfair.
Again, the NBA had no choice when a gif of flop was going viral. Same with the Fisher-Martin double flop. I think the best way to stop flopping is fans and media publicizing videos of ridiculous flops forcing the league to take action. But he 5K penalty is just too little. It should be an automatic one-game suspension like leaving the bench in fights.
Good, maybe now the fans could create gifs showing how stupid stern, silver, and the refs are. Maybe then they'd fine themselves and quit the NBA.
