Huh? Green wasn't looking at the towel at all. How did he know where to hold the cup so that it would get hit? Actually if it was a set up, it would be an amazing shot. To me, it looked like a spontaneous lucky throw caught on camera.

So where are the people who were saying Curry had the greatest individual season of all time and is the greatest scorer of all time? All that talk based on his PER, which is now 10th all time and just above Anthony Davis's PER from last season. He also isn't going to finish the season at over 30 ppg just like i said. This is what people were saying when you clowns speak too soon. Greatest season ever lol..You couldn't just let it be an incredible season, you had to go and say ridiculous things and that's what creates "haters" or rather just people who know better. But...what the hell have the retired legends or current older legends done for me lately, right? CURRY DA GOAT!
Yes, those claims are still valid. First, he is the chief reason for a team going for 73 wins. Has anyone else done that? In their last two losses, curry's poor shooting did have something to do with not winning. That only goes to show how impactful is curry's consistency to help them win at this rate. There have been many games that the dubs couldn't have won but did, only cos they have the 50-45-90, 30ft shot maker in Curry. Think about it, when u r down like 8 with a min to go. When you have a guy who would just walk up pass half court and hoist one up within 5 sec, two times in a row! No one on the team would even feel they're about to lose, so they will focus on making the right plays. Curry's ability gives the team unbreakable confidence, hence they will feel they're always in the game. Curry is also an amazing finisher around the rim, his gravity in moving defenders out of position is the best in nba history. Put all these together, now argue what's wrong with ppl considering his season a goat offensively. Stamina is the only one thing he is clearly inferior to the past greats. He got obviously fatigued throughout the past weeks hence the drop in numbers.
I think his stamina is fine. IMO, his numbers dropped b/c he put too much pressure on himself to get 400 3's. As a result, he forced a lot of low percentage shots.
He got his 30.1 average. Good for him. Still doesn't change what people were saying "best scorer ever!!1 No weaknesses! Highest PER ever!!1"
Still probably the greatest offensive performance in history. The PER thing was an interesting curiosity, but almost no analyst thinks PER is the best measure of greatness, it's just the first widespread all-in-one measure so probably the best known. The sheer efficiency with which Curry scored his points, especially considering the minutes he played, is beyond staggering. Jordan required more minutes and more shot attempts per game to put up his numbers, even in his best seasons.
The difference between Steph's 3 point record this year and 2nd most (also Steph from last year) is the same as the difference between #2 and #221. Holy ****.
reddit/nba may have discovered the proof that curry has made a deal with the devil to achieve his greatness. This season per game, hes avg 5.1 (2pointers made) 5.1 (3pointers made) 5.1 (FTA per game) 5 + 1 = 6 5 + 1 = 6 5 + 1 = 6 666!
He used to be a defensive liability in his younger years, but currently, he's at least an average individual defender and a good team defender.
