He apparently doesn't understand how restricted free agency works either. He makes it sound like Lin wanted nothing to do with NY, the Knicks are the one who didn't match.

IIRC, he played over in Europe for a while before trying really hard to come back to the US and competing to be the 15th man.

Exactly. The Knicks forced Lin to go out and find his value in free agency and then got butthurt when it was "too much."

That quick historical rewrite re: "Lin wanted out" is shameless.

If heard that Chandler dropped 34 on them, then he's heard of Chandler. Right? C'mon now. Boom.

Dude move on already. Yes, he took the money which is what any player would do and he says he's happy with Felton and thinks he's a better player. Yet, you can still sense the bitterness.

    No I didn't, but

    a) My job is not sports analysis

    and

    b) Copeland is a 6.4 minutes per game bench player who's played 13 games in the NBA over just this season. Parsons is a 37.5 minutes per game starter who has played in 85 games in the NBA over two seasons.

Also one is on the current All Star ballot and the other is not.

Seriously, I mean, yeah I can understand if a sports analyst doesn't know every single player on every single roster, maybe not even every single regular starter on every single team, but when an NBA analyst has never heard of a player who is on the current All Star ballot...and admitting to it...how does he keep his job?

    Priceless.

    :)

His opinion is all spin. Knicks signed Kidd to mentor Lin, then Felton later.
