He knows who Parsons is...just playing his schtick, all the guys at ESPN have one. Once you get past that they are tolerable.

Stehpen A does do very good interviews though. They should just let him do that then give out his opinion on things.

Actually to be very fair, the Knicks have been playing better without Lin and Amare.

Wouldn't it be nice if Jeremy and Toney dropped 40 combined? That would be the highlight of the season. Can't. Wait.

I'm not sure. He seemed to have said it sarcastically. If I were an ESPN analyst, I would try to know at least the starters if not all of the players in the league.

Speaks to his credibility. I've always wondered why people quoted Stephen A. Smith. Suggests they listen to him, and who would do that? Just bizarre.

Its his schtick and has been for years to make ridiculous claims and vehemently stand by them. Having a strong opinion (whether it be uninformed or not) usually forces the general public to either agree or disagree to some extent but as long as its a hot topic which will either rub people the wrong way or have people shouting in agreement for more (including on online forums..) this is a winning formula for an entertainment journalist because it keeps people talking about him, keeps them relevant.

People just can't wait to have heated discussion over his next idiotic claim. As far as I'm concerned he is just a professional troll and I will continue to ignore him but I won't hate on him just like I won't hate on Justin Bieber because they are far more financially successful than I am (even if I don't like them or what they do). He is pretty much the embodiment of TMZ in the basketball/sports journalism world as far as news credibility goes and I think he should be taken as a source of gossip/entertainment rather than serious/legitimate basketball news.

Personally I don't see the point of having heated debate over his nonsensical dribble as there is generally very little basketball value to be shared and becomes a flame fest but obviously there are many who enjoy partaking in it as evidenced in his continued relevance/success.

    /end rant

I thought Jeremy would play better with Carmelo playing than without Carmelo. We'll see.
