I think SAS is almost forced to say something like this in light of what happened in the Knicks game. After all if Jeremy is nothing more than a marginal player then what does that make Felton and the Knicks, who were clearly outplayed on national television

I believed SAS said Lin's a good player a few times on first take. People who called Lin a marginal player are Larry Brown and Jerry Stackhouse.

Both of them, I feel are very intelligent and can have insightful thoughts but they're enamored with bringing that "shock" factor just to stir up the public. It's unnecessary but ESPN can do whatever they want.

SAS is paid to look like he is an angry brother and says shocking thing. He wasn't stupid as the other ESPN guy who said about RG3 being not black enough. I'm waiting for that mistake that would lead SAS to be exiled.

Hate on SAS all u want, he eats crow with a smile everytime it's served to him. I can't stand him personally, but that's the one dude in the media who willingly orders his crow.

I used to think Stephen A was a clown (he hosts a gimmick show on ESPN) but after breaking the Clippers-Celtics news, I now consider him a legitimate source. He knows his stuff.

He actually broke the Lebron to the Heat news but the credit was given to Broussard.

SAS is kind of like the used car "barker" commercials. We all hate them, but they are mildly entertaining.

Stephen A Smith knows even today in the back of his mind that you can take Parsons out the game pretty easily if you put real defensive pressure on him. He's not a Star he's just a glorified role player. Only other system that would benefit him more than Houston's is San Antonio's.
