Harden is too selfless to be Kobe. Please don't compare him to the most overrated player of all time. He might already be better than Kobe right now. Gimme one of those stacked Lakers teams with Harden and we'll take the ship easy. I agree that Westbrook is more like Kobe. Selfish, chucker, and completely overrated.

He is shooting 1 less per game than last year. And still leading the league with 185, 22 more than the 2nd person.

    But ok lol

All about what the league, the sponsors and the owners needed marketing-wise in that era. If you ask me, Kobe's true basketball legacy is that of hard work, commitment and evolution - he was truly excellent with those things. He was not an all-time top 3 scorer - Harden is already better - and his defense as you said was inconsistent throughout his career. Still, he was a great scorer who could get into a zone like no other and he was not one to shy away from big moments.

Harden needs a ring. Everything he's doing would unfortunately be forgotten if overshadowed by the lack of a ring. Then again, if the Warriors are as dominant as the media claims, then lots of elite players will be retiring without rings in this era. I'm optimistic about this season if we get a killer FA pickup after someone good is bought out.

He was 4th best big behind Yao. He was never on KG level. Way better than Love & Bosh? Um, nope. Gasol's best year he put up about 20 & 9. Bosh's best season he was 24 & 10, while Love was 26 & 12. Gasol is NOWHERE near the same category. Yes he played great in a finals game, and helped win a ring. But so did Kyrie, so did Ray Allen. Both saved Lebron's azz when he couldnt close out the 4th quarter of the finals. Overrall, Lebron's had more overrall talent than Kobe & MJ

I absolutely despise Kobe Bryant.. I hate him more than any other player in NBA history... but saying Harden is without a doubt better than Kobe is borderline ridiculous. Yes he's a ball hog and yes he's somewhat of a cancer. He also made huge shots, won how many rings? and was a WAYYYYYY better defender than Harden.

Again I'll emphasize, I HATE KOBE BRYANT, but harden isn't better than him yet. Flame me all you want

Nope, that was me showing that non rookie season Harden is better than Kobe ever was.....but I could do the same thing showing that Lebron has about 10 seasons better than Kobe's best season ever.

ESPN on air talent mail in their research duties all the time.

If you listen to Bomani Jones Radio Show or Dan Le Batard Radio Show they will often brag or make jokes about how little of the games they actually watch.
