CP3 has plenty of opportunities but he could not capitalize. He couldn’t even beat bigs 1 on 1 on PNR switches much less guards. His decline and massive contract are hindrances to the team at this point.
Trade was fine, Rockets have competed very well the last two seasons. The extension should have been more like 4 years / $100 million though.
You can’t automatically believe it. However, you CAN automatically assume that he’s making **** up and hoping it sticks, since that’s what he does every time.
CP3 wanting out is another black eye on this organization. You got a selfish superstar quitting on his team, playing for regular season stats, and the guy that thrives off playing basketball the right way wants out. Basically ain't nobody gonna wanna come here & watch Harden stand around at halfcourt if he doesn't have the ball
This is likely not true, but the real concern should be that with a contract like Paul's, Houston isn't likely to be able to make any "get better" trades if they want to move him.
Trading CP3 feels like the sh!tty Pippen trade Bringing in 6 players ranging from mediocre to suck . .. . Rocket River
I repeat that 100 million is his value, but Paul fans think there is no problem bc it’s over the salary cap.morey is unable to sign free agents.
Yep this team is screwed. I feel like we are just going to suck next season unless Harden pulls one of those ridiculous seasons and then is completely fried come playoffs. I also don't blame Paul for wanting out too. The media and everyone has been posting that everyone is expendable except for James harden will piss anyone off on that team. Good job Morey and Tillman for making it very difficult for us to go anywhere the next few years.
Harden is better than both of those players by far and has been for years. They should know their place.
Id trade him for expirings if i could... I dont expect anything decent coming back in a trade for him but if we could get $40 mill in expiring deals id be all for it.
It’s common knowledge the LaBron calls a lot of the personal moves for the team his on. Is it time for the two to team up? He reworked his and other’s contracts to make it work with the Heat. Positive thing is most of the Lakers players under contracts are rotation worthy. Not much dead weight to pass on.
For long term, it can only get better by trading with big city. Since 2018, Big cities don’t have bad contracts except Houston.
