I don't understand how he can say that when:

We have no idea what the CBA will look like, that affects a lot because the Bulls might not be able to sign him.

We have no idea what shape Tracy is in, he hasn't played basketball since April and as we all know he is fragile.

The Bulls chose not to sign him last year after he worked out for them.

Well time off has been good for him in general.

McGrady was no where near All-Star form, we know this. But he played solid for Detroit and didn't miss many games. I agree he is an upgrade from Keith Bogans...he'd start over Ronnie Brewer as well.

I'm no fan of SAS, but he might have inside info that McGrady will take the min from the Bulls and they want him.

That would be a great addition.

Chicago passed on him last time. Though both issues were a concern, I believe they were more concerned with his attitude rather than health. He kept insisting he wanted a major role.

They need a true SHOOTING guard. They need someone who can knock down open shots and someone who create scoring opportunities for himself. TMAC is more of a play maker now, he has lost his slashing abilities.

Stephen A. Smith has always had inside relationship with Mcgrady. There was a video on Youtube, which I think was taken down, in which Stephen A interviewed Mcgrady about his days in Orlando. So I think this report is probably true.

I think that would be a great fit for T-mac in Chicago. They finally get a legit SG who's proven.

I think he's perfect. They need a playmaker and T-Mac is that. Derrick Rose is still more of a scorer than a pure playmaker.

The Bulls are one true SG away from a championship. I don't think McGrady is a great fit at that starting position there. I think they need someone like Courtney Lee. But even if McGrady was to go there, I couldn't see him starting. At best, he'd be a 6th man.

there is no way he starts. IF bulls can get an aaron affalo type, that would be perfect. Bulls need someone who can create and create off the bench, and mcgrady is still a playmaker one way or another and give him a 6th man roll and he could be dangerous for that team.

This will be great because it will make it easier for the Houston Rockets to beat the Chicago Bulls. I am in favor of other teams getting worse.

He’s making it pretty known he’s desperate to go there:

    TheReal_TMAC Tracy McGrady

It also seems like he’s making it be known that he wouldn’t mind a bench role at this point in his career after he goofed last year with his comments about wanting to start:

    TheReal_TMAC Tracy McGrady

I also think the Bulls should pass, though. His playmaking skills might make him worth the minimum, but he’s still a bad three point shooter, a defensive liability, and a lifelong loser.

The more interesting thing to come out of that interview was the SAS said he had a "source" that said a deal will be reached by 2 weeks.

Washed up sure. But getting him for $2million tops is a good deal.
