i thought it was his right ankle that he has rolled the most. i love this guy's game and fantasy numbers but i don't think i can touch him in my league. this is like his 12th sprained ankle in three years...
Curry is just minding his own business and some drunk driver takes him out. And he's going to get labelled as injury prone.
I think it's more like once you have a severe sprain, it is more likely to occur again. But this time, it looks like Mathews' action on that player would have sprained everyone's ankle. Matthews accidentally kicked Curry's ankle going for a steal.
Curry stepped back with his right foot at the perfectly wrong time. this is just a freak accident and it sucks that it happened to a player already dealing with shoddy ankles. you can't really blame either guy here. hell, the guy who hit him got tripped pretty badly and went headfirst into his teammate. he could have been injured as well.
no, he clipped the car in front of him and went spiraling into on-coming traffic. I hate drunk drivers.

the legendary paper ankle? remember what they said about lin and curry? whats the point of having someone that is "better" than lin when they someone cant play?
I used to have a really weak ankle after having a severe sprain. Twisted it over and over again over the course of 3 years. I let it heal a while doing strengthening exercises. After, I switched from basketball shoes to cross trainers with "no support" (the entire natural/free shoe movement) and have never had a sprain since. My guess is that basketball shoes with their wings cause more severe sprains once your momentum actually causes your ankle to roll and that the high ankle and cushion support cause your ankle never to strengthen the way it was meant to. This is of course not likely applicable to all people, but a personal experience that might be relevant with some players.
