Harden as the 2/3rd option will be nice

Are you serious with this post? That last one's the only one with a ring of those three.

    Funny how homerism works.

It does depend on our ability to trade Asik and Lin, does it not? If so, I'd rather have Rondo to take the ball out of Harden's ISO-heavy hands and run a play other than dribble, dribble, dribble, shake, shuffle, dribble, dribble, dribble, oh crap clock running down, shoot. I also think Rondo would help us more in the playoffs because he would be more of a stabilizing factor.

No Marc Stein. Melo is not going to the Mavs

In fact, Dirk is coming here on the vet minimum to 3 peat

    Bev
    Harden
    Melo
    Dirk
    Dwight

    6th man: Parsons

Rest of the bench: who cares

Come on man that's generic response 101 from athletes.

Generally guys don't throw their teammates under the bus and say yeah the help I have isn't near good enough.

Harden would gladly welcome one of his team USA buddies. Hell anybody that makes the team better. This Harden is selfish narrative is just unfounded bs.

If Melo goes to Dallas, it's because LeBron is going to Dallas. That's the only way it makes sense.

BTW, depending on what Dirks new contract comes in at, Dallas could have $20 to 30 million in cap space....the most in the league this summer.

The Mavs have Monta Ellis. And Monta Ellis have it all.

Off the bench would be nice. We need that spark when Melo and Dwight carry this team in the playoffs. You already know who disappears

Man that team would be lethal offensively. Defensively on the other hand...

This actually sounds a lot more plausible than Love coming here. Asik will be relatively easy to move for pieces and Lin appears to have value to them, that is a good core to build a S&T around, I think. It all comes down to what Melo wants, and I just don't see how the other teams' situations trump ours if he is looking for rings.

As for him going to Miami... How? How do they pull that off? I just don't see how it's possible with Wade and Bosh there too. Like Miami's going to trade one of those 3? They'd have a full-blown riot on their hands if they did that.

Stein has SOME connections but yeah... He is close with the Mavs, that is where his "source" is.

How big of a pay cut would LeBron, Wade, and Bosh have to take to bring in Melo? If he wants rings, he'll go to Miami for sure..

    This.

Why have a big three when you can have a big four? :)
